Inventory Controller

Job Overview:
Staffmax his hiring an inventory controller on behalf of our client, one of Canada's largest and longest-running building supply distributors.
The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring tile storage aisles are well-organized, clean, and safe. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient warehouse operations by ensuring products are properly stocked, picked accurately, and stored according to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Replenishment: Maintain fully stocked racks and aisles by replenishing tile inventory as required.

Order Accuracy: Confirm that picked items match order requirements and meet quality standards.

Inventory Audits: Conduct routine stock counts, identify discrepancies, and report variances to management.

Aisle Organization: Keep warehouse aisles tidy, hazard-free, and ensure tiles are securely and neatly stacked.

Safety Compliance: Follow all warehouse safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Inventory Reporting: Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages, damages, or overstock situations to leadership.
Compensation:
$21.00 per hour
