About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to follow through on the vehicle preparation process, ensuring that vehicles are serviced and prepared in a timely manner for delivery to the customer or sales department inventory. Specifically:

  • open/prepare and close all Internal Service Repair Orders for vehicles delivery/inventory preparation
  • prepare detailed and accurate estimates of labor and parts costs, and present them to Sales Manager for authorization
  • advise the Sales Manager on recommended and required vehicle maintenance, while providing thorough and expert details and explanations
  • schedule vehicle maintenance appointments ensuring workflow through the service shop
  • review vehicle maintenance history, and check for outstanding recalls or campaigns; verify the scope of warranty coverage on the customer vehicle before maintenance commences

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in coordinating and advising, including:

  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a service advisor
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • proficiency in working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
