Job description

Randstad Canada is hiring for a Paintline Material Handler in Airdrie. Reporting to the Production Manager, Fabrication, this position is responsible for loading and unloading the paint line

This position is intended to be an initial contract via Randstad Canada until the employee is able to converted to the client's team as an internal employee.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.

Starting wage is $20 / hr.

What You’ll Do

  • Mark orders as started or completed on DMM
  • Load and unload parts from the paint line
  • Mark orders as started and completed in DMM
  • Deliver parts to production
  • Help ensure the long-term integrity of paint line equipment
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards.

  • Qualifications

    The successful candidate must have Grade 12 or equivalent level of education, basic computer skills, and effective communication / interpersonal skills and be a team player. Candidates with knowledge / experience reading basic wiring schematic symbols will be given preference. Those with experience using Amada punch press, Shear and JFY and spot welding will be given preference.
