Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Supporting our Quality Control department, the Administrator will provide support managing and distributing controlled manuals, issuing, and processing PO’s, managing AP / AR logs for business units, and maintaining and formatting all Quality technical documentation and supporting databases. POSITION DETAILS

  • This is a part-time, hourly position

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain, format and distribute quality technical reports, forms, procedures, and quality management system manuals
  • Maintain databases for all internal / external course offerings, course completions, and competency evaluations
  • Attend and take minutes during committee and corporate quality meetings
  • Issue and process business unit PO’s, maintain AP / AR logs.
  • Act as point of contact for documentation and regulatory quality issues
  • Ensure proper management, storage, and filing of all controlled documents
  • Support internal auditors, manage auditing data, and trending statistics
  • QUALIFICATIONS Education

  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree (e.g. business administration, commerce) preferred
  • Experience

  • Minimum of three years of related industry experience
  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role in the quality field would be considered an asset
  • SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of ABSA, CSA, and ASME standards and applicable Provincial Safety Codes Act and Regulatory requirements for the construction of oil and gas pressure regulated products
  • Basic understanding of process development methods in oil and gas, specifically regarding quality control and assurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
  • Adept at document management systems and tracking software
  • Capable of participating in and facilitating group meetings
  • Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Capable of working independently with minimal direction
  • Proactively seeks and accomplishes tasks that lead to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment
