Working with the Firmware team, the student will work closely with members of the team to improve our system integration testing platform. This is a full-time position for the duration of a work term.
This position is for someone in a computer science or engineering program to learn about working as part of a technical team. You will be exposed to embedded products, their design and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the development and testing of firmware for various safety devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
- Debug existing firmware and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Document design processes, test cases, and results.
- Support the team in researching new technologies and tools to enhance firmware capabilities.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
