Job description

We are assisting our client in locating a Sr. Instructional Designer with expertise in Change Management to create two eLearning modules as part of a global change management initiative. These modules will support employees and people leaders in adopting new ways of working, aligned with the organization’s broader “Way of Working” transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to design and develop two eLearning modules (20-30 minutes each). The first module will be for all employees and focus on individual actions, behaviors, and mindsets to support change, even without a formal change management role. The second will be for people leaders emphasizing enabling behavioral habits, providing nudges, and offering practical tactics for supporting their teams through change.
Employ a consultative approach to challenge assumptions and push for innovative, impactful learning solutions.
Develop interactive and engaging content using tools like Articulate Storyline or Rise, potentially incorporating a “choose-your-own-adventure” approach to address diverse maturity levels across global markets.
Integrate critical thinking opportunities and practical applications of change management frameworks into the learning experience.
Conduct gap analysis to identify and address content needs, leveraging existing materials or creating new content in collaboration with SMEs.
Ensure content aligns with the psychology of change already introduced and builds on it to drive actionable behaviors.

Qualifications and Skills :

Consultative mindset : Proven ability to strategically challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions.

Change Management expertise : Strong understanding of change management principles, frameworks, and their practical application in diverse organizational contexts.

Instructional Design proficiency : Experience designing engaging, interactive eLearning modules with a focus on behavior change and mindset shifts.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with SMEs and global stakeholders.

Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or equivalent.

Familiarity with global and culturally diverse audiences, with an ability to create inclusive, adaptable content.

Project Deliverables :

Two eLearning modules (20-30 minutes each) :

Employee-focused module on actionable behaviors and mindset shifts.

People leader-focused module on enabling habits and providing team nudges.

High interactivity and opportunities for application of change management frameworks.

Additional Details :

Tools and licenses : Open to consultant-provided tools or company-provided licenses (confirmation pending).

Equipment : Consultant may need to provide their own laptop (confirmation pending).

Start Date : Feb 2025

Duration : 4 to 6 weeks

Hours : 40 hours per week

Location : 100% Virtual

The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour on an independent contractor basis and is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
