We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Technology Architect to lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Enterprise Architecture (EA) , with a strong focus on Java , Azure , OpenShift , and comprehensive knowledge of ERP , Automation , Infrastructure , CI / CD pipelines , and Application Modernization . Experience within the retail domain is highly preferred to align technology strategies with business objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Enterprise Architecture Leadership : Define, develop, and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies.
Cross-Technology Stack Expertise : Design scalable, robust, and secure solutions across on-premises and cloud ecosystems (Azure & OpenShift).
Application Modernization : Drive initiatives to modernize legacy applications, leveraging microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
ERP and Automation : Architect solutions integrating ERP platforms and automation tools to optimize business processes and operational efficiency.
CI / CD Pipeline Management : Develop and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support agile development methodologies.
Infrastructure Strategy : Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design resilient, cost-effective, and secure IT infrastructures.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Governance and Compliance : Establish architectural governance standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.
Proven expertise in Java technologies, with a deep understanding of modern Java frameworks and tools.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and OpenShift container platform.
In-depth knowledge of ERP systems , automation frameworks , infrastructure design , and CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Solid background in application modernization strategies, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
Demonstrated experience in the retail domain , understanding key business processes, challenges, and trends.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert ).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
