Your New Role
As the Head of Technology, you will lead the technological transformation of our organization, driving innovation and ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with our strategic goals. This role will be pivotal in transitioning the company into a tech-powered organization, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience across our national network.
What You’ll do
Strategic Technology Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Identify emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization stays ahead in the competitive landscape.
Lead the digital transformation journey, focusing on operational efficiency and enhanced customer experiences.
Leverage data as a strategic asset to power innovation, enabling automation and improving outcomes through data-driven insights.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Build and manage a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Inclusive of developing a roadmap and delivering it with ownership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology into all areas of the business.
Act as a trusted part of our management team, providing insights on technology opportunities and risks across boundaries.
Technology Infrastructure & Operations
Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and robust technology systems.
Ensure IT operations are efficient, reliable, and support business continuity.
Develop and implement policies and frameworks for cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance.
Innovation & Product Development
Drive the development and delivery of technology-driven products and services.
Promote a customer-centric approach to product innovation and usability.
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for technology-enabled growth.
Budget & Vendor Management
Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
Oversee relationships with technology vendors and partners to drive performance and innovation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Technology, IT Director) within a complex, high-growth organization.
- Expertise in scaling technology systems and processes in alignment with business growth.
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation strategies, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing technology teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels.
- Prior experience leading fast paced transforming projects in a startup environment is highly preferred. Experience in transforming traditional businesses into tech-powered organizations.
- Background in managing national or geographically distributed networks.
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
