Job descriptionEstablished Client Base : Torus already has national agreements with some of the largest and most established engineering, construction, and IT firms in Canada. This person will be the first person to utilize those agreements and gain traction in Ontario. Competitive Commission Structure : Earn up to 60% of placement fees or 60% of contractor margin. Account Portfolio : Manage three established government accounts, providing immediate opportunities for relationship-building and placements. Access to Premium Tools : Access to our proprietary candidate database, Recruiter license, and more. Reimbursement : $75 per month cell phone reimbursement. Proven Recruiting / Account Management Experience : 2+ years in recruitment or account management, ideally within engineering, construction, or government contracts. Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills : Ability to build and manage relationships, communicate clearly, and negotiate with confidence. Self-Motivated and Results-Driven : You thrive in a commission-based environment and are driven by the potential to shape your earnings. Role Overview :
As an Account Manager / Recruiter with Torus Talent, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering on requirements for three major government accounts. This commission-based role provides a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial recruiter to earn up to 60% of placement fees and up to 60% of the margin on contract placements. You will have access to valuable resources, including our candidate database, Recruiter license, and tools to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and nurture relationships with our established national accounts in Ontario.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and establish trust-based partnerships.
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for roles in engineering and construction management, and IT.
- Drive the full recruitment cycle, from candidate engagement and interview prep to negotiation and placement.
- Actively build and maintain a network of candidates through various channels, leveraging Torus Talent’s database and Recruiter license.
