Contractor, Engineering Support
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Contractor, Engineering Support for a 12-month contract rolewith one of our utility sector clients.
Contractor, Engineering Support – Qualifications & Experience :
- 4 – 7 years of Engineering experience in Utilities with strong design, analysis, and planning experience
- Experience / knowledge of engineering maintenance & reliability analysis
- Knowledgeable in business planning processes (proposals, budgeting, approvals, program planning)
- Experience in Data Management and analysis, with applied experience in the use of Alteryx and Tableau
- Proficiency in information technology applications such as general office software, CAD, SAP, GEAR, engineering records, and specialized engineering application software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective project management operations, budgeting, process, and productivity improvement skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of independence and the ability to visualize opportunities
- Aptitude and experience in adapting to, managing, and facilitating change
- Demonstrated versatile leadership and ability to encourage organizational teamwork and collaboration
- Strong negotiating and relationship-building abilities
- Proven effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to predict and understand technological trends and their impact on business or strategic work plans
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental legislation and regulations
