Are you looking for a rewarding job where you can apply your skills in occupational health and safety?At Desgagnés Logistik, you will join a passionate and collaborative team working together to ensure the success of our OHS projects.Be part of a dedicated team working across Quebec to ensure safe environments in all our projects.Take on the challenge and become our next OHS Advisor!More specifically, the OHS and environment advisor main responsibilities are to : Act as a change agent within the business unitEnsure the update and compliance of operational documents related to our occupational health and safety management systems, as well as standards and regulationsConduct regular inspections, recommend preventive or corrective measures and ensure follow-upActively participate in incident investigations, leading or supporting the teams involvedCommunicate regularly with the corporate team to share potential improvements and OHS issuesContribute to the annual review of OHS management systems and help identify prioritiesMonitor operational activities on sites and vessels, identify hazards and analyze associated risksSupport and participate in various committees and working groups, as well as monitoring OHS training for workers and managersAnalyze OHS incident trends, ensure the implementation of preventive measures and ensure information transfer with the corporate teamIn collaboration with our corporate health and safety team, you will help deploy prevention strategies, identify key indicators, and guide our operational teams on all our work sites.Working conditionsPermanent, daytime positionFlexible schedule of 40 hours per weekRemote work policy (50 %)Comprehensive group insurance program (including dental insurance)Registered Retirement Savings Plan (with employer contribution)Employee assistance program and telemedicineAnnual vacationFloating holidays, sick days and federal holidaysFree coffee!Skills requiredCollege diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management, or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience as a OHS prevention generalistExperience in a company under federal or provincial jurisdiction and in a unionized environmentExperience in the shipping industry, an assetExcellent knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations (CQHSER, Canada Labour Code, and other Canadian legislation)Bilingual, French and English, spoken and writtenAutonomous in the use of MS Office softwareRigorous and organizedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to balance administrative tasks with on-site presenceAbility to work as part of a teamSail into your future with us!Desgagnés Logistik Inc.specializes in stevedoring and terminal operations, offering its customers a unique experience through its innovative and competitive cargo handling services that meet the most demanding logistics requirements.
