Job description

Operations Maintaining and expanding electrical requirements of our 75,000 sq. ft. facility

Production – Trouble shooting and fixing all electrical aspects affecting production

Construction – Contributing to the ongoing expansion of facilities and manufacturing infrastructure

Adamson is a manufacturer of high-performance audio products located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Our production environment contains state-of-the art equipment, ranging from 5-axis machining, laser cutting as well as SMT board production - Pick and place, AOI and selective soldering, all located at our greenfield facility in Port Perry.

Day to day activity:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings and electrical code specifications
  • Splicing and connecting wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
  • Testing and troubleshooting circuits to ensure; current, continuity, voltage, and systems operating safely
  • Pulling wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors
  • Communicating effectively as a member of a team with supervisors and other skilled trades people
  • Install lighting fixtures
  • Install manufacturing equipment
  • Install, examine, replace and/or repair electrical components
  • Maintain, repair and test switchgear, transformers, regulators, motors, generators, and control systems
  • Keep maintenance records

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Qualification as a 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician.
  • 5 years experience.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Manufacturing infrastructure knowledge and experience
