Valmet is looking for a Product Manager responsible for defining and managing core products while maintaining product expertise. Being aware of current market through development of sales, targeted marketing campaigns and business strategy specific to our customer’s needs will enable success in this position. The candidate must have a technical understanding of our Steam and Energy Systems and be responsible for product line image, performance, competitiveness, profitability, and market share.
- Provide direction to and participate in Air Systems RTD, Product Development and Product Commercialization activities.
- Ability to develop and distribute competitive product information including training and communicate regular up-grades with engineering, applications, project, and design teams.
- Work with application specialists to evaluate customer needs and / or inquiries and provide a quality proposal to meet those customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong technical competence in Air Systems Business; this will include training responsibilities for internal and external customers.
REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have good technical knowledge of steam and energy systems and current market area. Travel is required for this position.
