A Human Resources (HR) Administrator supports the smooth functioning of an organization’s HR department by handling administrative tasks related to employee records, recruitment, and other HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to date employee records
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions
  • Process payroll information, including timesheets, deductions, and new employee date
  • Ensure HR data integrity in HRIS and other systems
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and benefits
  • Full-cycle recruitment functions
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR administrator or relevant human resources position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CHRP designation considered an asset)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
