Job description5+ years of HSE management experience in the construction industry. CRSP and / or NCSO® designation required. Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC and construction safety best practices. Our client, a well-established civil construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and deep excavation projects, is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join their team in Surrey, BC. The client has a strong safety-first culture and COR certification.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain company HSE policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Manage the company’s online safety platform and ensure all site documentation is current.
- Lead safety orientations, training, and toolbox talks.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and environmental regulations.
- Maintain safety equipment inventory and documentation.
