Description de poste

Our client, a well-established civil construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and deep excavation projects, is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join their team in Surrey, BC. The client has a strong safety-first culture and COR certification.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain company HSE policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Manage the company’s online safety platform and ensure all site documentation is current.
  • Lead safety orientations, training, and toolbox talks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain safety equipment inventory and documentation.

Ideal Candidate Requirements :

  • 5+ years of HSE management experience in the construction industry.
  • CRSP and / or NCSO® designation required.
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC and construction safety best practices.
  • Experience in unionized environments is an asset.
  • Proficient in safety management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
