Experience with salary benchmarking and compensation band development. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Our client is searching for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions in a fast-paced Lumber & Building Materials (LBM) distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation band management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and the ability to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities : Talent Acquisition & Retention :
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent.
- Develop job descriptions and manage job postings to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage offer negotiations, employment contracts, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
