Job description

Human Resource Business Partner

Our client is searching for a Human Resource Business Partner to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that HR initiatives align with the company’s overall business needs. A successful candidate will nurture a positive environment and develop new and innovative ways to engage employees.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

  • Organize and lead meetings with HR and Management team members, as well as Townhall Meetings, etc.
  • Responsible for Recruiting, Performance and Change Management, and Coaching and Empowerment
  • Facilitate training, succession and workforce planning, and compensation and benefits
  • Manage employee life cycle from attraction to separation
  • Keep the team up to date on HR trends and best practices as well as employment laws and regulations
  • Manage the ADP, WFN and other HRIS Software

Your strengths include :

  • Professional HR Designation is preferred, or working towards an HR Degree
  • 8+ years of progressive HR Administration, Benefits and Training Development management
  • 3+ years of work with or in a unionized environment
  • Extensive knowledge of all existing legislation and provisions pertaining to employment
  • Accounting experience is considered an asset
