Job description

Gas Technicians – Halifax, NS

We are open to candidates who are willing to relocate and we provide assistance with the relocation.

We are looking for a Gas Technician with a Gas A or B Licence to join our Halifax Team!

Responsibilities :

Boilers and Gas System diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Test combustion equipment and controls for issues.

Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and mechanical testing equipment.

Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems.

Observe and test system operation using gauges and test instruments and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable system operations.

Estimate, order and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.

Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunction.

Requirements :

Gas Tech A preferred. Gas Tech 2 is a minimum requirement.

Oil Burner license (asset).

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Must be willing to work on the road.

HVAC experience (asset).
