The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting training and managing volunteers to support the organization s programs and events. This role involves ensuring that volunteers have a positive and meaningful experience while contributing to the organization s mission.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment and retention strategies.
- Coordinate volunteer orientation and training sessions.
- Match volunteers with appropriate roles and responsibilities.
- Supervise and support volunteers during their service.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities.
- Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions.
- Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.

Bachelor s degree in social work, human resources, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in volunteer management or coordination. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and training skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of volunteers. Proficiency in volunteer management software and tools.
