Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
Location : Regina or Saskatoon, SK
Our client, one of the largest geotechnical construction companies in Canada, is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with 2–3 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing foundation drills and related construction equipment. This is a union position with competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities to work on unique ground engineering projects across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities :
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment and trucks
Perform maintenance, overhaul, and equipment commissioning
Troubleshoot hydraulic, powertrain, and electro-mechanical systems
Operate and inspect equipment for repairs
Follow safety procedures and participate in safety programs
Qualifications :
Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
Experience with foundation drills or similar construction equipment preferred
Willingness to travel and work outdoors in camp environments
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Drug & alcohol test and “Sure Hire” fit test required

8–12 hour shifts, with overtime, nights, weekends, and rotation as needed
