Reporting to the Agronomy Division Manager, the successful candidate will
be responsible for the overall management in the areas of Agro, hardware,
feed, machinery, oil and staff management. Duties include but are not
limited to : Agro sales, preparing a budget within parameters set by
Agronomy Division Manager, invoicing, claims, data reporting / validating and
inventory management. Responsible for preparation, administration and
achievement of budgeted department goals related to pricing, sales,
margins and expenses. Analyze period end statements, identify if
corrective action is required, and provide recommendations to the
Agronomy Division Manager. Staff management (scheduling, performance
reviews, training), warehouse operations, logistics, ensuring staff adhere to
Pioneer Co-op policy and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have strong knowledge of Agro, hardware, feed, machinery, oil,
warehouse operations and possess necessary organizational skills. Must
be able to communicate effectively. Previous commodity and team
management experience preferred. Computer skills should include
Microsoft Programs, focusing in Excel. Position classified as a Safety
Sensitive Position : therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol &
Substance policy as a condition of employment. Must be able to stand for
extended periods of time and perform heavy lifting.
