  • Résumé du poste :

    Trane à Laval, QC offre une nouvelle opportunité intéressante de se joindre à notre équipe en tant que Gestionnaire de Projets - Équipements. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de l'administration, de la mise en œuvre et de la gestion des projets d'équipement CVC et responsable de la portée, du calendrier et du budget assigné.

    Les responsabilités comprennent les tâches suivantes et d'autres tâches peuvent être assignées  :

  • Planifie et analyse les projets assignés, établit les calendriers et les paramètres du projet et définit les procédures pour atteindre les objectifs du système, impliquant des applications d'équipement complexes.
  • Communique avec les clients et leurs représentants, y compris les propriétaires d'immeubles, les entrepreneurs en mécanique, les autres corps de métier, les sous-traitants et le personnel de soutien sur le terrain.  Maintient la satisfaction des clients en enquêtant sur les problèmes, en mettant en oeuvre des mesures correctives et en communiquant avec les clients et le personnel affecté.
  • Compare les dates d'expédition estimées avec le calendrier du projet des entrepreneurs et assure la conformité avec les procédures de commande d'équipement internes.
  • Responsable du maintient de l'exactitude des coûts prévus à l'achèvement et du contrôle des dépenses en surveillant le budget du projet attribué.
  • Crée et apporte des révisions aux calendriers de projets, y compris : générer des tâches, des estimations, des dépendances et des jalons.
  • Responsable de la saisie des commandes d'équipement, de l'émission des achats et de la génération des bons de travail pour les démarrages d'équipements.
  • Responsable de la gestion de la trésorie du projet : facturation progressive, support et suivi des recouvrements et gestion des ressources.
  • Qualifications :

  • Diplôme d'associé en ingénierie ou équivalent avec un minimum de cinq (5) années d'expérience en gestion de projet, en équipement, en CVC ou dans un domaine connexe ; OU expérience connexe ; ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience.
  • Maitrise de l'anglais requis, Ce poste implique de communiquer   à la fois verbalement et par écrit de façon régulière, avec d'autres équipes Trane situées à travers le Canada, des client anglophone et occasionnellement avec des fournisseurs aux États-Unis
  • Familiarité avec les systèmes CVC et les équipements de température souhaitée.
  • Solides compétences démontrées en matière de service à la clientèle et de résolution de problème.
  • Solide compétences en communication, approche proactive avec volonté de travailler de manière autonome ainsi qu'en équipe.
  • Expérience avérée de la hiérarchisation des tâches afin de respecter des délais serrés dans un environnement ayant un rythme élevé avec une attention aux détails.

    Trane in Laval, QC is hiring for an Equipment Project Manager to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of HVAC equipment projects and accountable for assigned projects’ scope of work, schedule, and budget.

  • Where is the work :

    Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

    What you will do :

  • Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex equipment applications.
  • Communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff. Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
  • Compares estimated ship dates with contractors project schedule and ensures compliance with internal equipment ordering processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion and controls expenses by monitoring assigned project budget.
  • Creates and makes revisions to project schedules including : generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Responsible for entering equipment orders, issuing purchase, and generating work orders for equipment start-ups
  • Responsible for project cash-flow management : progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management.
  • What you will bring :

  • Associate’s Degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR  related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent in French and English is required; this position involves regularly communicating both verbally and in writing with other Trane teams across Canada, English-speaking customers, and occasionally with suppliers in the United States.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred.
  • Strong, demonstrated customer service and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment with attention to detail.
