Job descriptionMedical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Radiology is preferred. Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and advanced imaging techniques. Familiarity with medical coding practices for radiological services. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail in interpreting imaging results. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for teambased care. Position : Radiologist
Location : Alberta Canada
Job Type : Fulltime
Duties :
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations including Xrays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds.
- Provide precise interpretations of imaging results for accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct physical examinations when necessary to evaluate patient conditions.
- Maintain detailed compliant records of patient interactions and diagnostic findings.
- Participate in urgent care scenarios delivering timely evaluations and interventions.
- Support public health initiatives related to radiological practices and patient education.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and methodologies including electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Offer consultations in specialized fields including addiction medicine pediatric cardiology pain management and other areas of expertise.
