The Service Coordinator is responsible in maintaining customer service standards through a safe and efficient operation, while adhering to Company policies, procedures and standards. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operation of the shop and service area.
Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations through the proper handling of customer calls, merchandise, questions, comments, requests, and complaints.
- Effectively works in a team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
- Assist the supervisor to ensure the shop is operating in accordance with company policies, procedures and programs.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the supervisor regarding recommendations for continued improvement of the operation. Where necessary, develop and administer action plans for desired results.
- Provide direction in the achievement of centre- level confidential budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, profits, and EHP.
- Coordinate all technical repairs of equipment, assembly of new equipment and the installation of equipment. This will be done in accordance to manufactures’ specification, guidelines and warranty programs.
- Assist the supervisor in overseeing the management of the AADL recycle program and the maintenance of all rental equipment.
- Establish and maintain a strong, efficient, and productive working relationship with approved professionals, business organizations, and internal / external company representatives.
- Responsible for the administration of the sale and billing of merchandise, repair of merchandise, inventory control, purchase orders, price integrity, quotes and all administrative areas not specifically referred to in this document.
- Be a liaison and public relations representative for the company within the communities you serve.
- Assist in the ordering of products and supplies, assists in organizing and conducting inventory and in conjunction with the supervisor source suppliers of non AADL equipment.
- Adhere to all government and professional standards and regulations as they apply to the Home Health Care Industry.
- Provide direction to staff in the shop in the following areas : Ensure daily functions are carried out in an organized and efficient manner. Application of effective customer service techniques. Participates in program implementation.
- Assist the supervisors in providing leadership in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) including participate in OH&S activities, ensuring employees are knowledgeable about and comply with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation, assist in identifying unhealthy, unsafe situations and ensure corrective action is taken. Ensure all staff are adhering to safety rules and regulations.
