Description

The Health Promotion and Wellness Consultant, in partnership with the Wellness team, has the responsibility to plan, implement, deliver, and support a health and wellness promotion program for employees across North America for one of our corporate clients.

Location : 3 days in Waterloo office (Tues / Wed / Thurs), 2 days remote (Mon / Fri)

Status : Full Time Temporary (6-12 months)

What you will do :

• Support the Annual Program Plan for Wellness : Collaborate with the Wellness team to support the annual wellness program plan.
• Communication and Marketing Plan : Assist with the development and delivery of a communication and marketing plan to maximize awareness of the wellness program through creative marketing strategies.
• Health Promotion Education Programs : Plan and deliver health promotion education programs and initiatives, and evaluate and monitor service delivery and effectiveness.
• Health and Wellness Sessions : Create and deliver health and wellness sessions in person in Waterloo and / or virtually.
• Mental Health Initiatives : Support and lead a variety of mental health initiatives with an overall goal of prevention and awareness building.
• Collaboration with Corporate Departments and Community Agencies : Work closely with other corporate departments and community agencies to stay on top of trends and emerging risks.
• Coordination of Logistics for Onsite Events : Assist with the coordination of logistics for the annual biometric screening clinics, annual preventive screenings, annual flu immunization program, and other onsite events.
• Data Management : Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for statistical data and reporting.
• Wellness Content Creation : Create and deliver wellness content for team meetings, town halls, conferences, and other events as requested.
• Wellness Breaks : Provide wellness breaks (stretching, mindfulness) for town halls, quarterly meetings, conferences, and other team meetings as requested.
• Virtual Fitness Classes : Teach a variety of Express Wellness Virtual Fitness Classes and host them on platform.
• Wellbeing SharePoint Management : Manage a Wellbeing SharePoint site, event calendar, and booking system.
• Data Accumulation on Wellness Offerings : Collect and analyze data on current wellness programs to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Global Strategy for Wellness Programming : Develop and propose innovative ideas for a comprehensive global wellness strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and values.
• EFAP Support : Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), ensuring they understand and can access the resources available to them.
• Meetings with Business Partners : Collaborate with other business partners to discuss and strategize on how to best leverage wellness offerings to enhance employee well-being and engagement.
