Job Title : Guidewire Policy Centre Developer

Location : Markham, Ontario

Duration : 6 months+

Description

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with business users, analysts, and team members to understand and implement business requirements, configure business rules, and develop workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
10 years of experience in application development, preferably in the insurance domain.
5 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Centre, Billing Centre, or Claim Centre integration.
Certification on the Guidewire cloud platform.(Must)
Strong understanding of OOP design principles and enterprise integration design patterns.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Relevant project experience with Guidewire PC, CC, BC.

Experience working effectively with vendor partners onshore and offshore.

Ability to manage multiple activities and meet fast deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Coordinate with business users and team members to configure and develop Guidewire components using GOSU, integration plugins, messaging, REST APIs, etc.

Apply coding standards, best practices, and design patterns to deliver solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing solutions and workarounds for critical requirements.

Adhere to enterprise security and performance requirements.

Identify risks and opportunities affecting program and project deliverables and follow through on mitigation, resolution, and action plans.

Prepare and enhance design documents to support product configuration, including field mapping, data definition, and rules definition.
