We are looking for a highly organized and detailoriented experienced technical electrical site QC inspector to join our team in water / wastewater treatment. This role is critical in supporting our clients needs relating to large infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced in construction client / GC / vendor relationship management and coordinating closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform inspections for electrical installations upgrades maintenance diagnose and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including inspections repairs installation and equipment inventory
- Independently performs walkdowns and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.
- Spends time performing estimating takeoffs and performing walkdowns for quantity tracking purposes reporting of installed quantities performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.
- Collaborate with contractors project managers and site electricians.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their electrical needs address concerns and provide quality service and solutions.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Interfaces with design team and work closely with BIM modelling software.
- Assists with reviewing and responding to Contract documents including field memos RFIs and change orders.
- Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
- Work with document control systems project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow uptodate and accurate.
- Attend construction meetings and report on project construction tasks to the EIC team as needed.
