JomboneSwift Current, SaskatchewanThe Role : As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by assessing, treating, and managing respiratory disorders. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, advocate for patient needs, and promote optimal respiratory health outcomes.
Responsibilities :
Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
Requirements :
Valid Respiratory Therapist license.
Must have successful completion of an accredited program of Respiratory Therapy.
Current certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
Experience in an acute care setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
