Our client, located in Brampton is seeking a stellar Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working within a similar capacity, working fully ON-SITE.
Roles and Responsibilities
Inspections & Audits : Regularly conduct site audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures for regulatory compliance.
Health & Safety Program Management : Develop and enhance a safety program that aligns with company objectives and fosters a safe work culture.
Policy & Compliance : Create and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring alignment with legal standards and industry practices.
Injury Claims & RTW Management : Oversee Workers' Compensation claims, lead investigations, and manage Return-to-Work programs for injured employees.
Safety Support : Provide guidance to all branches on safety protocols, ensuring the correct use of equipment and adherence to safety standards.
Incident Management : Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
Safety Reporting : Track and analyze safety data, reporting trends and suggesting improvements.
Training & Safety Methods : Deliver safety training and promote safe work practices across the organization.
Documentation & Record Keeping : Maintain safety records and follow up with staff to ensure compliance.
Branch Visits : Occasional travel to branch locations to provide onsite support and conduct inspections.
