Noorunissa Montessori Academy is seeking full-time Kindergarten and Grades 1-6 teacher for the 2024-25 school year, starting August 2024. Must be organized, flexible, creative, and interested in Montessori philosophy and pedagogy. Duties include lesson planning, delivering BC curriculum and Montessori curriculum in a Montessori School setting, student assessments and reporting, effective classroom management, meeting with parents and participating in the festival and collegial life of the school. Professional requirements include a valid BC teaching certificate and a minimum two years classroom teaching experience. Preferred candidates will have Montessori teaching experience, certification, and / or training. Salary to be discussed during interview / hiring period. Please reply with a cover letter and resume.
