Title : Project Manager, Land Based Healing
Contract : Term (to March 2025)
Hours : 37.5 Hours
Location : Lheidli T’enneh (Prince George), BC
About the role
The Regional Land-Based Healing Project Manager has overall regional responsibility for the planning, executing, and monitoring of the Land-Based Healing projects, funding, and grants. This role collaborates with community leadership, First Nations community health leaders / managers, Manager of Mental Health and Wellness, Manager of Regional Funding Initiatives, and others across the FNHA and throughout the BC health and wellness system, to define projects in terms of scope and objectives, to develop detailed work plans, and provide regular project status updates. The role is expected to anticipate and identify project issues and risks, develop options and recommend solutions, and work with senior management to implement solutions.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have / be –
- Bachelors’ degree or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- PMP designation is an asset
- Change Management certification is an asset
- You may have;
- Significant, recent and relevant experience in Project Management
- Experience in people, risk, and change management
- Experience in strategic planning
- Experience in working with project management software
- Experience working in Northern First Nations communities and lived experience and understanding of land-based healing programs and projects
