Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, and dedicated GIS Technician to assist in digitization our spatial data as well as database management. In this role, you will be working with the latest database technologies and be part of a team that is developing a GIS application that is at the forefront of survey and transportation civil infrastructure asset management.

We are looking for an individual with a technical background and has strong analytical skills to aid us in identifying bottlenecks and develop new solutions. You will be part of an energetic, dynamic, and fast-paced team, and will be exposed to a variety of techniques in data management, GIS, and relevant fields.

The ideal individual is highly autonomous (as in take creative ownership of your assignments!) and can demonstrate the ability lead assignments to successful conclusion in a timely manner. Having LiDAR experience in survey or processing is a huge plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Certificate in Computer Science, Geomatics Engineering, GIS or related field.
• 1+ years of experience of working with ArcGIS.
• 1+ years of experience in working with LiDAR Data.
• Familiarity or experience working with QGIS and python is a plus.

Dans ce rôle, vous travaillerez avec les dernières technologies de base de données et ferez partie d'une équipe qui développe une application SIG à la pointe de la gestion des actifs des infrastructures civiles d'arpentage et de transport.

Nous recherchons une personne ayant une formation technique et de solides compétences analytiques pour nous aider à identifier les goulets d'étranglement et à développer de nouvelles solutions. Vous ferez partie d'une équipe énergique, dynamique et rapide, et serez exposé à une variété de techniques en matière de gestion de données, de SIG et autres domaines pertinents.

La personne idéale est très autonome (c'est-à-dire qu'elle s'approprie ses missions de manière créative !) et peut démontrer sa capacité à mener à bien ses missions dans les délais impartis. Une expérience LiDAR dans le domaine de l'arpentage ou du traitement est un atout majeur.
