Job descriptionAssist in geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion. Conduct / oversee site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and geotechnical analysis under senior supervision. Prepare and review geotechnical reports, designs, and recommendations with guidance. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Stay current with advancements in geotechnical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into projects. Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Eagerness to learn and develop skills in geotechnical engineering. Strong technical knowledge in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. An Ontario Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle. Commitment to safe work practices for yourself and your colleagues.
