Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Lead Game Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Downtown Toronto, where you will be at the heart of driving our game's creative vision and ensuring that our games are engaging, polished, and fun. As a contributor, you will work closely with the entire team to design, implement, and refine game mechanics, ensuring they resonate with players and meet industry standards. As part of our commitment to rewarding key contributors, equity / ownership is included as part of the compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

Design high-quality games and mechanics that captivate and engage players.
Develop detailed design documents and wireframes for features and mechanics.
Clearly communicate your designs and vision to the team.
Ensure game mechanics are properly implemented and balanced.
Use player feedback and data analysis to refine mechanics and improve engagement.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and become an expert in the genre.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in mobile game design (through school, work, or game jams).

Passion for creating and playing mobile games.

Familiarity with Unity is a strong plus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback.

Excellent communication skills to share ideas and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
