Covet Fashion is seeking a Game Writer to join our Live Ops team. Reporting to the Head of Content, you will be responsible for generating weekly written content for our game.
This creative role involves crafting engaging, aspirational copy to appeal to our adult female audience.
What You’ll be Doing :
- Write and edit Style Challenge copies
- Follow and maintain a consistent schedule
- Self-edit, revise, and update according to Content notes
- Maintain the Covet voice and work within established copy guidelines
- Bring storylines to life from simple imagery and concept
- Coordinate with brands for any featured Style Challenges
- QA and proofread all in-game copies
- Provide any in-game text needed for product features, tutorials, social media, and in-person events
- Write all in-game messaging, including but not limited to any Fashion Feed, inbox message, popup, and news module text
Requirements
- Creative writing and short-form writing experience
- 2+ years experience in both creative writing and editorial writing
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office and Google suites
- Ability to adapt and grow Covet’s voice and style
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Portfolio demonstrating the above skills and experience
- Familiarity with the fashion, lifestyle and mobile gaming industries is a plus
