WHAT IT TAKES
The Student Assistant, Document Design will help students with learning design and graphic software utilized in the Document Design course ( CMNS 3400), by providing peer tutoring. The software includes InDesign and Photoshop. The Student Assistant will also be expected to provide informal feedback on both digital and print student projects.
Domestic students must meet ONE of the following criteria, to be eligible to work as a Student Assistant / Student Research Assistant :
Qualified Douglas College students meeting the above criteria will be given first preference over students of other qualifying institutions.
Additional Information
The position is located at the New Westminster Campus Hours of work : up to a maximum of 20 hours / week. The work terms for this position are :
1. Fall 2024 : September 3, 2024 - December 19, 2024
2. Winter 2025 : January 6, 2025 - April 25, 2025
3. Summer 2025 : May 6, 2025 - August 18, 2025
