This posting is for an existing within Lais Hotel Properties Limited.

Position Summary: To provide an immaculately clean and tidy environment for all Spa visitors and Team Members.

*Weekend Availability Required*

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
  • Meeting established up-selling and sales goals
  • Sweep and mops floors
  • Wipe mirrors and picture frames
  • Clean sinks, toilets, sauna, and shower areas
  • Dust lockers and gym equipment
  • Wipe walls, doors, railings, fencing, baseboards and trim
  • Pick-up garbage and empties garbage cans
  • Vacuum all areas of Spa and treatment rooms
  • Check and replaces supplies in washrooms as needed such as toilet paper, paper towels and tissue
  • Ensure the tea and water station is fully stocked at all times
  • Gathers supplies needed to perform job duties such as cleaning solutions, water, rags and spray bottles
  • Ensure that all laundry items are washed, dried and folded and fully stocked into cupboards
  • Cleans pool areas including stocking and clearing of towels
  • Take ownership of simple requests and answer general spa and hotel questions when queried by Guests. If unable to assist, refer directly to someone who can
  • Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services
  • Suggesting additional products and services meeting our guests’ specific preferences
  • Assessing guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services
  • Actively seeking ways to meet guest product or service needs
  • All other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience an asset
  • Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset
