    • Job Summary :

    Reporting to the Distribution Operations Manager, the PDC Supervisor oversee the daily activity of the production work flow.

    Key Accountabilities :

  • Supervise the operations of the PDC shipping / receiving tasks efficiently and ensure all operational deadlines are met daily.
  • Safeguard that OHSA & JHSC rules & regulations are met or exceeded throughout all PDC operations.
  • Schedule staff, daily and long-term, to coordinate with current and expected workflow demands.
  • Train, coach, develop, mentor and discipline PDC staff as required.
  • Monitor and delegate workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Administer / improve daily / weekly / monthly workflow reports.
  • Administer / improve employee productivity reports.
  • Create open dialogue with staff and keep team informed of corporate direction and developments.
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain both inventory and location accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the PDC(3R,5S).
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Required Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution, logistics or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position preferably in a distribution environment.
  • Degree / diploma in logistics / supply chain or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instruction.
  • Ability to coach and manage others.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Team oriented and customer service focused.
  • Valid MHE license : Reach Truck, Counterbalance & Order Picker.
  • Valid TDG certificate, training will be provided if not.
