Statut et tâche : Poste à temps plein à 100%

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un.e enseignant.e de français , passionné.e et dynamique, pour se joindre à l’équipe de l’ école secondaire et soutenir les élèves dans le développement de leurs compétences linguistiques en français. L’objectif principal du poste est d’aider les élèves à acquérir et à consolider leur maîtrise du français grâce à un enseignement stimulant et centré sur l’élève.

En étroite collaboration avec les enseignant.e.s titulaires de français, la coordonnatrice de l’enrichissement de l’apprentissage et la coordonnatrice de l’enseignement et de l’apprentissage, la personne retenue offrira un soutien ciblé afin d’assurer une expérience d’apprentissage cohérente, inclusive et enrichissante, qui renforce la confiance, nourrit la curiosité et encourage une appréciation durable de la culture francophone.

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des expériences d’apprentissage et des évaluations engageantes, en cohérence avec les programmes du ministère de l’Éducation et la vision éducative de l’École ;
  • Appliquer des stratégies pédagogiques innovantes, inclusives et centrées sur l’élève, favorisant l’acquisition du français, la différenciation et la participation active ;
  • Favoriser un climat de classe positif et respectueux qui encourage la confiance, la curiosité, la collaboration et le plaisir d’apprendre ;
  • Soutenir les élèves dans le développement de leurs compétences orales et écrites en français tout en approfondissant leur compréhension et leur appréciation de la culture francophone ;
  • Collaborer efficacement avec l’équipe, en partageant les observations et les mises à jour sur les progrès des élèves, au besoin ;
  • Promouvoir et incarner la mission, la vision, les valeurs et les politiques éducatives de l’École ;
  • Participer aux réunions, aux rencontres parents-enseignant.e.s et aux événements scolaires prévus au calendrier pédagogique.

Compétences, expérience et formation requises

  • Baccalauréat en éducation ou maîtrise qualifiante
  • Brevet (ou en cours d'obtention);
  • Expérience en enseignement du français ou français langue seconde au secondaire ;
  • Excellente maîtrise du français oral et écrit ;
  • Capacité d’adaptation pédagogique et de maintien un cadre de classe bienveillant ;
  • Engagement envers le développement, la collaboration et le bien-être des élèves ;
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) est un atout.

    Status & Workload : Full Time Position 100%

    We are looking for a passionate and dynamic French Teacher to join the secondary school team and support students in developing their French language skills, written and spoken. The main objective of this position is to help students acquire and strengthen their mastery of French through engaging, student-centered instruction.

    Working in close collaboration with the French homeroom teachers, the Learning Enrichment Coordinator, and the Teaching & Learning Coordinator of, the successful candidate will provide targeted support that ensures a cohesive, inclusive, and enriching learning experience—one that builds confidence, nurtures curiosity, and fosters a lasting appreciation for Francophone culture.

    Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging learning experiences and assessments aligned with the Ministry of Education programs and the School’s educational vision.
  • Apply innovative, inclusive, and student-centered teaching strategies that promote French language acquisition, differentiated instruction, and active participation.
  • Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages confidence, curiosity, collaboration, and a love of learning.
  • Support students in developing oral and written proficiency in French while deepening their understanding and appreciation of Francophone culture.
  • Collaborate effectively with the teaching team, sharing observations and updates on student progress as needed.
  • Uphold and promote the School’s mission, vision, values, and educational policies.
  • Participate in meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events outlined in the pedagogical calendar

  • Bachelor’s of Education
  • Brevet or qualifying Master’s degree in progress.
  • Experience teaching French as a second language at the primary level.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in French.
