Must haves

  • Axway Secure Transport & Axway Sentinel (MFT) Experience

    • Description

    Responsibilities

  • Required to administer and assist in the cloud migration for MFT. This is a niche skillset.
  • Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of MFT, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

    • General Skills

  • Experience Axway Secure Transport and Axway Sentinel management, configuration, migration analysis; and support at the specified experience level
  • Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals
  • Experience with one or more communications protocols
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
  • Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

    • Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
  • Experience with middleware and gateways
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
  • Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Ability to provide user and system documentation as required

    • Experience and Skill Set Requirements

    80% Axway Secure Transport & Axway Sentinel (MFT) Experience

  • Axway support and improvements (Managed File Transfer - MFT)
  • Operating systems (AIX; Red Hat Linux; Windows Server Operating System)
  • Cloud computing concepts and configurations
  • Knowledge of security best practices for each listed OS and cloud configurations
  • Knowledge of best practices for MFT configuration and hardening
  • Interface testing and troubleshooting

    • 10% Networking

  • Firewalls
  • Connectivity testing and troubleshooting

    • 10% Communication and Systems Documentation

  • Documentation of work done on MFT
  • Documentation of work done on network configuration changes to allow MFT functionality between hosts
  • Interface and system documentation
  • Summaries of work done, statistical reporting.

    • Hybrid - candidate must work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
