A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE AFTERMARKET CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
This AfterMarket CSR (Customer Service Representative) will support dealers and end users with solutions and product support. The focus of this role is to ensure complete purchase satisfaction related to service administration / support, warranty, parts, and product training. It also includes public relations, demos, and trade show work.
A typical day role includes supporting dealers and customers by phone or on-site, processing parts orders, and delivering hands-on training. You’ll assess warranty claims, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with R&D on product improvements. Whether you're in the field or at your desk, you play a key role in solving problems and ensuring customer success.
WORK SCHEDULE
Hours will be seasonally dependent, based on the momentum of the industry. There is an expectation of 40% + / - travel to provide in-field support throughout AB and occasionally in BC and a few northern states.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?
Ideal Candidates will have :
- Post-secondary education in agriculture or mechanics (e.g., ag equipment tech or mechanical technology) with strong mechanical aptitude in powertrains and hydraulics
- 3+ years in customer service, tech support, or a similar problem-solving role
- Hands-on experience with operating agricultural equipment
- Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities combining analytical thinking with practical know-how
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions autonomously
- Welding / fabrication skills and knowledge of the ruminant livestock or material handling industries are assets
