  • Utilize vertiree’s data collection technologies to help streamline and scale field audits, partner trainings and feature improvements.
  • Work closely with the Field Data & Reporting Coordinator to systemize solving issues related to data consistency, data upload, data quality and data frequency.

What will you be doing?

Travel to veritree’s planting sites on as needed to evaluate whether planting and survival standards are being maintained.

  • You will audit recorded planting session data such as planted amounts, planted species, planting density and planted area.
  • You will audit recorded survival and growth progress data by counting alive and dead trees, measuring tree heights and confirming data from existing plots.

  • You will assess the severity of any current or future risks to areas already planted and to be planted.
  • Develop a standardized procedure for site auditing and reporting.

  • You will build a field audit methodology for each of the site ecosystems that veritree has or intends to plant trees.
  • You will ensure that data and findings from these site audits is thoroughly organized and presented in a report containing actionable recommendations where required.
  • Conduct data collection, training or technology deployment tasks as required.

  • You will assist in the ground-based data collection or verification tasks that go beyond tree planting such as sensor deployment, veritree app testing and field team training.
  • You will utilize the veritree app and system to collect evidence of planting activities and tree growth / survival where required.
