  • Participate in Final Area Close-Outs (FACOs) as required and provide trend reporting for Quality System Management Committee (QSMC) meetings.
  • Provide guidance to the Training Department as required, ensuring Airworthiness training material as well as Aircraft Type Courses are up-to-date and maintained.
  • Conduct random Electronic Work Order reviews.
  • Participate in Production Department meetings to remain current on aircraft status and milestones.
  • Fulfill the duties of the SMM in his / her absence.
  • Other duties as assigned by the SMM.

What You Will Bring :

  • Hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university, or be a graduate of a recognized aerospace technology course or, in the opinion of the SMM, have a thorough knowledge gained by formal training and / or work experience of the applicable airworthiness rules and standards.
  • Demonstrate to the SMM a thorough knowledge of :
  • 1) The scope and depth of technical airworthiness authority assigned to the AMO.

    2) Airworthiness responsibilities of the AMO.

    3) MPM procedures and their inter-relationship between the MPM and the IMP Quality Program.

  • Have no less than 6 years of relevant and progressively more responsible aerospace maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in the supervision of aeronautical product maintenance.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies, continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
  • What We Will Do For You :

  • All of IMP's benefits become effective on your first day of work, regardless of your position.
  • We offer a comprehensive Benefits Package, including RSP Program, Holiday Incentive program (3 additional days off over Christmas), Tuition Reimbursement Program, Long Service Awards, Volunteer Grant Program, Scholarship Program, and more!
  • IMP is committed to Employment Equity and our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative at all job levels.
