Job description :

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Foreman supervises a team of mechanics, electromechanics, electrical technicians, and electricians. He or she is responsible for planning and coordinating preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work to maximize equipment reliability and support operations.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise, motivate, and develop the maintenance team.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work according to operational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, work procedures, and quality standards.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of equipment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement the necessary corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the production, engineering, automation, and continuous improvement teams.
  • Participate in managing schedules, hours worked, subcontractors, and parts inventories.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices and processes.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Inspiring leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities.
  • Strong focus on health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
