Fire Prevention Specialist / Inspector is a critical member of the Fire Prevention Team and are responsible for all aspects of fire prevention and education throughout the duration of their shift. This role would require the FPS to work a continental rotation shift of days and nights. You will hold NFPA Level I and II certificates, IMS100 certification, a G Class Drivers Licence. FPS reports directly to the Security Shift Supervisor and are responsible for the following :
Pay Rate : $25.00 / hr
Shift : Days and Nights Continental Rotation
Life Safety Inspections :
- Inspection, maintenance and use of personal protective equipment including Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), identifying and reporting all deficiencies. .
- Basic maintenance of security patrol vehicles and reporting all deficiencies
Fire Prevention :
o Includes of all the Ontario Fire College supplemental courses prescribed by the OFMEM including, NFPA 472 or 1072 Awareness Level, Legislation, Part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 9, and Courtroom Procedures
