Evertz Microsystems is currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Failure Analysis Technician to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. As a Failure Analysis Technician, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing failures in industry leading broadcast technologies. Your primary objectives will be to identify root causes of failures which will assist in product reliability and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaboration with various teams will be crucial to ensure the effective resolution of customer return issues. Responsibilities : Conduct detailed failure analysis on Broadcast electronic products. Execute test plans and procedures to replicate and diagnose customer return issues Repair and refurbish products to ensure they meet quality standards before being returned to customers Collaborate with design teams to provide insights for design improvements. Prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and customers as required Assist quality assurance and production teams in implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of customer return issues Qualifications : Diploma or certification in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in failure analysis of electronic products would be an asset Solid understanding of electronic components and circuits Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams Join Evertz Microsystems as a Failure Analysis Technician and contribute to enhancing product reliability and customer satisfaction through effective failure analysis and product repair.
