As the Investigator you will investigate and document fraudulent activity for client, claimant and vendor transactions and identify the holistic investigative actions required. You will support and train stakeholders to implement timely resolutions for investigations and loss prevention in multiple business areas across the organization.
How you will create impact :
Collecting, critically assessing and preserving evidence sourced from business partners and conducting on-site investigations to document and retrieve pertinent evidence.
Conducting investigations to ensure the authenticity of submitted evidence and documenting ongoing investigative results to support claims and policy transactions.
Engaging with industry organizations dedicated to fraud awareness, prevention and investigations and monitoring emerging fraud and investigative trends.
Assisting in the design and delivery of training programs for fraud prevention and investigations, while ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
Collaborating with business partners to coordinate the employment of forensic experts, liaising with external experts and representatives during an investigation to ensure ongoing and open communication between all parties.

To join our team :
You have three years of insurance experience or three years of experience in investigative services, law enforcement or related field.
You have completed a post-secondary education in a related discipline.
You have obtained or are working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and aspire to complete a related insurance or fraud designation.
You have in-depth knowledge of investigative techniques and have experience gathering intelligence and managing fraud investigations.
What you need to know :
You will travel regularly.
You are required to have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.
Potential exposure to conditions that require health and safety protection, such as chemicals, noise, dust and debris.
This role involves direct contact with clients and / or service providers in their environment.
Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required.
You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
