Job descriptionPrepare and post nursing staff schedules. Replace staff due to absences, etc. Answer telephones and place outgoing calls. Perform clerical work and maintain records as required, including files for current and discharged residents, inservice attendance, etc. Deliver supplies and be able to lift 15 lbs or more. Adhere to policies on quality assurance, fire safety, infection control, and environmental procedures. Communicate relevant information to staff, residents, visitors, etc. Participate in facility meetings and inservice education programs. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Administrative skills including typing, filing, and computer proficiency. Ability to work safely following established safety practices. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and self-motivation skills. Provide a clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check. Business Administration Diploma preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Must be available to work weekends.
