About The Opportunity :
The Aquatic Cashiers are the first point of contact with pool visitors providing courteous and informative customer care. Along with reception duties, they are responsible for providing clerical and cashiering support to the Aquatics Division including processing cash and deposits, preparing correspondence and documents as well as maintaining records.
About Your Background :
The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma and two years of experience in a related position including experience processing cash and handling payments. In addition, you have a strong knowledge of office systems and procedures as well as a general understanding of accounting procedures. A typing speed of 40 wpm is required. You enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking to complete various clerical tasks, have excellent communication skills and thrive in a team environment. As a condition of employment, Aquatic Cashiers must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for offenses related to the position. Aquatic Cashiers work a variety of shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with availability between 5 : 30 am and 10 : 00 pm, Monday to Sunday and able to work call-in shifts on short notice. Shifts will primarily occur in the evenings and on weekends.
