About the Opportunity

Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation and review of annual and quarterly financial statements and MD&A under IFRS to ensure compliance with U.S. SEC regulations and filings

Conduct technical accounting research and prepare documentation; communicate and collaborate with the business and FP&A to understand the accounting and impact

Monitor and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations, including those related to sustainability reporting, and assess the impact to the Company; maintain appropriate documentation and lead the implementation and execution of such new standards

Coordinate with external auditors and prepare information to support the global consolidated audit, interim reviews and SOX testing

Lead the accounting of certain areas such as lease accounting, purchase accounting over business combinations, monthly regional close

Work closely with our global regional finance teams to guide and support local compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and review statutory financial statements

Partner with FP&A, Tax, Accounting Operations, Investor Relations, Treasury, Internal Audit, and other cross functional groups to achieve objectives

Recommend and streamline processes and initiate improvements where necessary

Support and enhance internal controls across global finance organization

Ad hoc work as required to ensure the success of the broader organization

About You

CPA designation in good standing

6+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and reporting

Strong knowledge of IFRS required

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced excel skills

Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday) an asset

Experience in a global business environment adhering to multiple stakeholders is an asset

Salary Range

110,000 - $130,000 / year
